Backyard Wedding in Temecula, CA

DULCE & CHRIS

Dulce and Chris are so cute. Dulce is one of my good friends as well as a wedding photographer in Canada. Josh and I felt so blessed to share in their day. Backyard weddings can be quite beautiful just as this one was. We had our fair share of obstacles, but we were able to capture amazing images throughout the day.

Many of the portraits were taken in the front yard of the house while some were taken at the nearby park. We even found this great field next to a river just two blocks from the house. I love to use the environment I’m in to create great backdrops to set the scene.

Wedding at the Chart House in Dana Point, CA

MORGAN & BRENEN

This wedding was awesome! We had 8 hours of photography with 3 photographers for this wedding. We started the day with the getting ready shots with the bride and the bridesmaids. Morgan’s mother was so happy for her. I was so glad we could capture the shot of her mother fastening up the back of the dress. It was truly a perfect mother/daughter moment. While I took pictures of the groomsmen, one of my second photographers hopped in the limo with the ladies and took some fun pictures of them goofing around.

After the reception we took the wedding party down to the beach so we could get some fun images of everyone together. We were also able to capture these gorgeous images of the bride and groom.

The cake you see above was made by Morgan’s aunt. Knowing this I made sure to get an image of the cake with the bride and groom using the natural sunlight that was drifting in through the window. I took this shot from a low angle to capture the unique architecture of the Dana Point Chart House. It was such a beautiful wedding.

Wedding in Lake Arrowhead, CA

SARAH & CASEY

I met Sarah & Casey through Prince Events and could have been happier to work with them. Their wedding reception was gorgeous at the Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa. There was a little deck area that overlooked the lake that was perfect for their family portraits.

Sarah & Casey decided to take a 2 hour break between the ceremony and reception was made the day go so smoothly. We had plenty of time for pictures as well as time to just relax with the newlyweds before we went and danced the night away. Also, I met the best DJ ever at their wedding and would recomend him to anyone, Allan at The D’Jay Company.
