General:

What areas do you serve?
Most of our clients are based in Orange County and surrounding areas although we love to travel all over the world for photography. Most of our clients are from Newport Beach, Corona Del Mar, Costa Mesa, Irvine and Laguna Beach. 

How would you describe your photography style?
We photograph mostly with a contemporary candid and casual style. We also make sure to include those formal portraits that mom and dad will love.

Do you charge a sitting fee?
We never charge a sitting fee for our regular portrait sessions. We found that our clients would prefer to invest their money in prints and other products than on the photography session. We have a minimum purchase for all portrait sessions instead.

Do I get a CD of all my photographs?
We provide a proofing DVD for all weddings and events to make it easy for you to view your images at home.  We will also give you a retouched digital copy of any prints that you order for you to share on FB, LinkedIn, WUPHF, email and any other online social network. Looking for a high resolution CD? You can purchase the digital negatives for events.

Do we get the rights to our photographs?
As the creators of our artwork, we maintain the rights to all of our images in order to insure the highest level of quality in the final product. You can purchase the digital negatives of the files for events, but not the rights to the images. We also make it very easy to purchase affordable gift size prints online, so you do not have to worry about printing them at home.

When do I get to see my proofs?
We will have your images edited and ready to view at your private screening two weeks after your photography date.

Is retouching extra?
All photographs have basic retouching included. Gift prints and larger ordered through us have full retouching included. Gift prints ordered online have only basic retouching.

What photography equipment do you use?
We use a variety of Canon DSLR cameras. Our current camera bodies include 2 Canon 5D Mark 2s, a Canon 1D Mark 3 and a Canon 5D. We use a variety of Canon lens because they play nice with our camera bodies. Canon lens plus Canon bodies equals a match made in Japan. We favor the L-Series lens and wide apertures.

 

Weddings:

Are you available on our wedding date?
Maybe. The best way to find out is to send us an email or give us a call at (714) 914-2025.

Are you the wedding photographer we will have at our wedding? How many photographers will photograph my wedding?
Josh and I photograph every wedding together so you are guaranteed two wedding photographers.

How many weddings do you shoot each weekend/year?
We photograph a maximum of 2 weddings per weekend. If you book us for a specific day, you will book us for that entire day. We never photograph 2 weddings on the same day. We photograph only 20 weddings each year. Call or email us today to make sure you are one of those 20.

What happens if you get sick or cannot make it to my wedding?
We have never missed or even been late to a wedding. If we think one or both of us will not make it to the wedding, we will let you know in advance and will make sure that a qualified professional wedding photographer will be there to provide you with a similar style and experience as what we can provide.

Do you take formal portraits as well as candids?
Yes. Candid portraits are awesome, but mom, dad and the grandparents will definitely want those formal portraits. We make sure to spend a little bit of time on formal family portraits while still making sure we capture the more casual and fun portraits of the Bride & Groom and Wedding Party.

Do you have backup equipment?
Always be prepared. We always bring multiple camera bodies, lens, flashes, memory cards, batteries and much more.

Do you have insurance?
We carry $1,000,000 in liability insurance so if your location requires proof of insurance, just let us know.

Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, of course. We can set up a personalized payment plan that fits any budget.

Is the engagement session included in my collection?
Every wedding collection includes an engagement photography session. Engagement sessions can also be purchased separately. For more information on engagement sessions click here.

Can you send me a list of your wedding photography collections with pricing?
Our clients have found that price alone without seeing what products you are getting is not very useful. We are happy to go through all of our collections with you in a studio consultation where we can help you find the services and products that best fit your wedding. If I do not want an album or a full collection can I pick and choose the items that I want?
Our clients have found that our collections have the best value for the most popular coverage and album options. If our collections do not work for you, we have an A La Carte menu that makes it easy to pick and choose exactly what you want for your wedding day.
