I love heading to the beach for any reason, especially when it is to hang out with energetic kids! The Tretko family was a blast to adventure around the beach with. I love their outfits too. Pastel colors are perfect for this type of setting. Didn’t they do a great job with their outfits? I love the added hats and umbrella that they brought with them. The extra props added a touch of romance to their family session.
One of the biggest challenges with this session was the intense amount of marine layer that came in. Yes, it gave a pretty soft lighting to the session, but it also blocked out the water from our view and made the background completely white. I truly love capturing those expansive ocean waves so it was a bit of a bummer to not see them here. That being said, the fog gave an angelic and dream like look to their session which was so much fun to see.
