White Family
Oregon nature is so beautiful. I love being able to capture families in the amazing place that we live in! The White family came to visit Sunriver, Oregon from all over and decided that Sunriver would be the perfect place to not only visit, but to have some beautiful family portraits taken of their whole family. I love when entire families get together and capture these precious memories, especially when it also means celebrating a 50th wedding anniversary! Yay!
Jean asked for simple, traditional family images in the natural Oregon landscape and I think that’s just what we captured. Coming from Arizona, I think they really cherished the lush green pine trees that our forest is filled with. I can’t wait to see these photos in their homes! Congrats again Jean and Joe on 50 amazing years (and a beautiful family)!
This little sweetheart, Madison, has autism which of course created some fun challenges for their session. Personally, I believe all kids are amazing in their own way, and Madison was no exception! While she had trouble sitting still (totally normal for any kid), she was a full of joy and adventure.
One of my main goals as a photographer is to not only capture a beautiful portrait of each kid, but to capture their personalities while keeping them entertained. I loved watching Madison play and wonder through the forest.
Keeping kids with autism excited about the session is hard. I had her take some photos with my camera of her dad and sister to keep her interested, which I think see totally loved! So while I couldn’t get her to keep smiling the whole time, I know I captured her with all the different expressions that make her who she is.
