Imagine sitting at home, enjoying quarantine with your son and new puppy when you get a call that changes your life. What a miracle little Jackson is! We’ve been praying for this boy to join their family for awhile now and then suddenly, overnight, he is here.
I can not tell you how excited I am for the entire Hynes family! I know how amazing that brotherly bond is by watching my own boys and I know these brothers are going to gave a lot of fun adventures together!
I feel so grateful to have been able to photograph the Hynes family and to meet little Jackson!
Ashley and Paul,
You guys know how much our family loves you guys so I’ll just say, I can’t believe how lucky you are! We can’t wait to watch your boys grow up together. We love you guys so much and we are all so excited for your family!
Alex came home from Germany a couple weeks before the due date to see Ashley one more time as they prepare for the birth of their first born. Sweet little Palmer knew dad was home as couldn’t wait to meet him. Within 24 hours of Alex arriving, she was born.
My favorite thing about being a photographer is being allowed into the lives of strangers to document the most important moments in their lives. I met Ashley and Alex on their wedding day and have enjoyed every minute of getting to know them sine then!
Last year they came out to Oregon for their maternity session. It was totally epic and amazing. Here’s a link: https://kelliannejordan.com/2019/10/24/sparks-lake-maternity/
With Ashley living on the East Coast, that meant I couldn’t be there for the birth or newborn photos of Palmer, but they decided to visit the West Coast so Grandma and Grandpa could meet her.
Of course we had to capture this special time since they won’t be together very often. Ashley and Palmer live on the East Coast while Alex works in Germany so this photo session really was special. Not only is it documenting Grandma and Grandpa with Palmer, but also Ashley, Alex and Palmer together as a whole family!
Ashley and Alex,
You two are an amazing couple! I know Palmer is going to have an incredible life, where ever you take her. I hope this time doesn’t go too quickly for you and I hope you can cherish every moment. Thank you for letting me capture these images for you. I can’t wait to photograph your family again!
My neighbors had their sweet little baby girl! They came by the studio for a mini session full of newborn photos of sweet baby Alexandra. Isn’t she so precious and just the cutest thing ever? I’m not a newborn photographer, but I just had to make sure they had photos of their third little girl. She’s really something!
Sweet baby Isla had so much fun at her family studio session last week with her two big brothers that she could hardly sleep. NO really, we could not get her to sleep. So we rescheduled for a home session making her the star. While her brothers played with trucks and musical instruments we got her to sleep and finally got some sweet sleeping baby photos. I love how simple yet softly girly these are.
Paul and Ashley finally got their baby boy! I could not be more excited for this family of 3! Wow! They are no longer 2, but 3. It’s refreshing to say. They have been hoping to be a family for so long. It was such an amazing thing to be able to document their new family in their home. I wanted to make sure we captured this special time in a way that brings back these sweet memories years from now. Their lives have been turned upside down over night and I know they are going to forget these moments, so I really hope these images bring back all these joyous feelings when they look at them. I just love capturing lifestyle family photographs like these! I can’t wait to see how many more memories they have together and I hope I get to be there to capture them!
When Kristen finally had her baby, she wanted nothing more than to document their family in their home. I joined them in their Bend, Oregon family home for their newborn family photography session. We took so many fun photos of the kids together and them as a family. I love being able to show relationships, especially at such a precious time!
Here are my favorite three images from Greyson’s 6 month photo session. We chose the studio this time since it’s winter and cold out. I definitely wanted her to be comfortable and warm so I could photograph her cute little baby rolls. I love how the white backdrop brings the focus straight to her eyes. She is so cute and I love those eyelashes! It’s been so fun to see baby Greyson grow over these last few months.
Amy asked that I come to their family home in Bend, Oregon to capture some beautiful newborn memories of their sweet new baby. I love when I can capture the whole family together interacting. These tiny baby newborn moments fade so fast and I love being to capture them forever for families to look back on years from now. I know Amy is going to love these!
I gave a gift of a newborn photography session to my friend Justine and it was so much fun to take these photos! Isabell was born only a few weeks after Noah, so normally I would have been on maternity leave, but I just had to take photos of their little cutie. Thank you Justine for being patient with me in my post c-section state. I truly appreciate it and I’m so happy we captured these precious newborn photographs!
When the Tegtmeier family had their new sweet little baby, I had to swing by and take newborn family photos for them. I captured just a few quick photos for them to cherish!
Amara and Dusty wanted to celebrate the birth of baby Juniper in their cozy home. They really wanted natural documentary lifestyle portraits of them as a family, which is what I love! I hung out with them and watched how they interact together. It was so refreshing to simply document everyday life in a joyful way. I know they will look back on these sweet memories for a lifetime.
This sweet girl finally came home after spending a month in the NICU. I feel so honored to be able to photograph her and get to know her. I can’t wait to see her grow up!
