Artemis a junior high student, actor and model. It was so much fun to do a quick headshot session for his school photos. Actors tend to be my favorite people to work with!
Oh my goodness! How gorgeous is Madi?? Sometimes you just know you are taking amazing photos as you click that shutter and that happened to me during this shoot. I kept telling Angie, Madi’s mom, that they look beautiful 😉 Madi was such a great model. She basically just hung out with me at Shevlin Park as we laughed together. I love her photos so much!
One of my favorite things about Madi’s session are the outfits she chose. Blue and white really pop in the natural setting and help highlight Madi’s eyes, which I LOVE. I also think it is fun when girls can show off different sides of their personalities through wardrobe. I can’t get enough of those cowgirl boots ya’ll.
One thing that Madi asked for was a few special photos with her boyfriend and a few photos with her mom and step dad. It was such a fun idea. I even added some family photos in front of the mountains and a few of just her mom and stepdad at the end (sorry you got bumped out of your session for a minute Madi!).
When you mix great weather, perfect lighting and adorable outfits with great attitudes (and a little laughter), magic can happen.
I already know you love these as much as I do so I just want to say thank you for trusting me with these photos. I had so much fun photographing you and I can’t wait to take more family photos of you guys!
Isn’t Anna so beautiful? I can’t believe how blessed I am to be able to photograph such gorgeous young women like Anna.
Anna asked that we go to one of her favorite parks in Bend, Oregon for her senior portraits. Since the water was super low, we had a chance to take advantage of the natural field formed where the water should have been. We got so lucky with weather too!
I love that we did three different outfits to represent who she is. The photos were so fun to take at Sawyer Park. Anna has such a great attitude about life and this crazy year!
Thank you you for being so much fun to photograph and for letting me be the one to capture these memories for you. I had a great time getting to know you and I know you are going to do amazing things in life!
Abbie is the sweetest senior! We had so much fun hiking around Shevlin Park in Bend, Oregon for her beautiful senior portraits. Abbie chose me to be her photographer and even drove about an hour to have her photos taken. Such an honor! She loves my light and airy senior portraits and I love people who can’t wait to work with me 🙂 Within minutes I had her posing perfectly because she listened and trusted me. This meant that we basically spent an hour just hanging out, chatting and having fun – oh and I took over 100 portraits of her!
Isn’t she so gorgeous? She is a sweet, slightly shy, fun, soccer playing – photography loving girl! We chatted about soccer for a few minutes, but one thing I love to do is teach photography. So when she mentioned she loves photography too, I couldn’t help but teach her what I was doing as I was doing it. I hope I get to see some if her photos someday!
It was so great getting to know you! You an amazing girl and my hope is that you can see how beautiful, strong and powerful you are. Thank you for letting me capture these photos for you. I truly had a lot of fun photographing you. I hope this year is filled with joy!
I love this photo! It so represents her shy side that she admitted she had. Not every person is outgoing and smiling all the time – even I’m not that way all the time. So I love to be able to capture these moments that show a softer side of someone, especially when it really shows a big part of who they are.
Isn’t it so Little Red Riding Hood inspired? I love it!
Gorgeous right?! I hope Abbie can see how beautiful she is!
Paige is this totally amazing artist in Bend, Oregon. She’s beautiful, a bit quite and completely talented! I can’t believe she’s only a senior in high school! I had so much fun with these beautiful senior portraits. I wanted to show Paige not only as an artist, but I also wanted to capture her beautiful soul in model like images. The light and landscape were perfect. I think I really captured who she is and I just love how these senior photos turned out!
Madison loves to come up to Black Butte Ranch in the summer with her family. She loves spending time along the Metolius River at the nearby fish hatchery where the water rushing by is bright blue and ice cold. We had a great time taking photos and exploring the Wizard Falls Fish Hatchery and Black Butte Ranch in Central Oregon.
Kayla’s family is just amazing and we feel super fortunate to be friends with them. It was such a treat to be able to take Kayla’s senior portraits! Kayla loves flowers and dancing so of course we had to incorporate some of both in her session. It was so fun to hangout along the river trail in Bend with Kayla and her mom and capture this beautiful girl!
When Rhett realized he needed a photo for his senior yearbook right away, he called and asked how soon he could come in. I met him at Drake Park, in Bend, Oregon the next day for his senior photos. I love how casual they are because the images really capture who he is. Isn’t that snow simply wonderful! I hope Rhett has an amazing senior year!
After seeing her friend Shania’s senior portrait session, Alyssa couldn’t wait to have her photos taken. I met Alyssa at the park next to Juniper Fitness for her session. We wondered around the forest area having so much fun! I know she loves her photos!
I did a quick mini senior portrait session with Luke at Shelvin Park in Bend, Oregon. It was simple and easy to take advantage of the gorgeous fall scenery. And he was a great model who followed direction super well. It was so fun and we captured some great photos for his yearbook!
Shania is such a sweet girl! It was so fun to get to know her at her Bend senior photography session. We captured fun casual photos as well as the grown up model look. Isn’t she so beautiful?
JP is the son of one of the biggest supporters of Young Life Bend. When I launched the family photography fundraiser for Young Life Bend this fall, his parents asked if they could use the session for senior portraits. Of course I said yes! Their family actually had the whole family in for portraits last year so I knew they needed senior photos more than they needed family photos. We spent just 15 minutes along the Deschutes River at Riverbend Park in Bend, Oregon capturing these great senior photos of JP!
