The Orser family comes to Sunriver every year to celebrate summer. This year, their daughter Emma, was looking to have her senior photos taken in this beautiful place that she loves so much. They reached out to me about a senior session and ended up doing a senior, family and family reunion/extended family session all in one. In about 90 minutes we captured beautiful senior portraits and family memories all in one. I mean seriously, how gorgeous is this family?
The best part was that they got to include their dogs in many of the photos. I love to photograph the bond between fur babies and their humans. It is so special! Toby and Bailey were so playful. They loved discovering the area and even listened and smiled at the camera when they were asked too.
Lori and Jeff are celebrating their 20th anniversary this year so I thought it fitting to give them a few extra couples photos during this session. Every couple needs photos to document these occasions!
To the Orser family,
Thank you so much for laughing with me and having great attitudes throughout your session. I had so much fun getting to know your family and I absolutely love all of the photographs and memories we captured! I’m so excited for you to have these throughout your home to look back on for years to come. Thank you so much!!
I love capturing mom with her babies, even when they are all grown up!
I’m oddly proud of this photo. I held two energetic dogs in one hand and a camera in the other for this photo! I’m so lucky dogs like me and actually listen to me most of the time.
How fun is it that these dogs joined in the smiles and laughter during this image! LOVE it!
Emma loves dogs so this photo was a must!
Gotta have that sibling photo! Plus it felt weird to me to do half the session of Emma and none of her younger brother Ty so I captured a few quick photos of him too.
These two are seriously the cutest! Happy 20th anniversary Lori and Jeff!!
Abbie is the sweetest senior! We had so much fun hiking around Shevlin Park in Bend, Oregon for her beautiful senior portraits. Abbie chose me to be her photographer and even drove about an hour to have her photos taken. Such an honor! She loves my light and airy senior portraits and I love people who can’t wait to work with me 🙂 Within minutes I had her posing perfectly because she listened and trusted me. This meant that we basically spent an hour just hanging out, chatting and having fun – oh and I took over 100 portraits of her!
Isn’t she so gorgeous? She is a sweet, slightly shy, fun, soccer playing – photography loving girl! We chatted about soccer for a few minutes, but one thing I love to do is teach photography. So when she mentioned she loves photography too, I couldn’t help but teach her what I was doing as I was doing it. I hope I get to see some if her photos someday!
It was so great getting to know you! You an amazing girl and my hope is that you can see how beautiful, strong and powerful you are. Thank you for letting me capture these photos for you. I truly had a lot of fun photographing you. I hope this year is filled with joy!
I love this photo! It so represents her shy side that she admitted she had. Not every person is outgoing and smiling all the time – even I’m not that way all the time. So I love to be able to capture these moments that show a softer side of someone, especially when it really shows a big part of who they are.
Isn’t it so Little Red Riding Hood inspired? I love it!
Gorgeous right?! I hope Abbie can see how beautiful she is!
Paige is this totally amazing artist in Bend, Oregon. She’s beautiful, a bit quite and completely talented! I can’t believe she’s only a senior in high school! I had so much fun with these beautiful senior portraits. I wanted to show Paige not only as an artist, but I also wanted to capture her beautiful soul in model like images. The light and landscape were perfect. I think I really captured who she is and I just love how these senior photos turned out!
When Rhett realized he needed a photo for his senior yearbook right away, he called and asked how soon he could come in. I met him at Drake Park, in Bend, Oregon the next day for his senior photos. I love how casual they are because the images really capture who he is. Isn’t that snow simply wonderful! I hope Rhett has an amazing senior year!
After seeing her friend Shania’s senior portrait session, Alyssa couldn’t wait to have her photos taken. I met Alyssa at the park next to Juniper Fitness for her session. We wondered around the forest area having so much fun! I know she loves her photos!
I did a quick mini senior portrait session with Luke at Shelvin Park in Bend, Oregon. It was simple and easy to take advantage of the gorgeous fall scenery. And he was a great model who followed direction super well. It was so fun and we captured some great photos for his yearbook!
JP is the son of one of the biggest supporters of Young Life Bend. When I launched the family photography fundraiser for Young Life Bend this fall, his parents asked if they could use the session for senior portraits. Of course I said yes! Their family actually had the whole family in for portraits last year so I knew they needed senior photos more than they needed family photos. We spent just 15 minutes along the Deschutes River at Riverbend Park in Bend, Oregon capturing these great senior photos of JP!
Amy is a super talented ballerina and I feel so lucky to be able to have photographed her senior portraits. I love all the beautiful moves she makes and that we were able to capture her in motion in Bend, Oregon.
