Bragg Family

I think every mom of boys learns to love the bundles of energy that our littles are filled with. As a mom of boys myself, photography sessions with little boys are some of my favorites! They are filled with discovery and adventure!

We started the Bragg family photoshoot by going on a walk through the forest. It was only a few yards, but I could see the eyes of these kiddos light up as they walked by sticks, pine cones and of course the bugs! It was easy to get them to smile pretty at first.

With just about every session with littles under 2, the kids can only stay happy for so long. I do my very best to only shoot for about 40 minutes to make sure they are done before they get too tired. In this case, their little man only lasted about 10 minutes. I’m pretty sure mom was shocked we got so many lovely photos of their family!

As a parent, I know it can be so disappointing to have your kids melt down when just want them to smile. I’m so glad mom and dad had such amazing attitudes and were happy to keep shooting! We kept going and got some sweet candid moments, portraits of the parents together and each parent with the kids. Although, I’m pretty sure 90 percent of the photos on the blog are from the first 10-15 minutes.

I can’t wait to decorate their home with their amazing family memories!!

I love when families bring props to show a specific time in a child’s life. I think he really felt like a super hero flying through the air as he jumped off the tree stump!
