When decided he wanted to surprise his wife with a drive and a photo session for their 9th anniversary, he called me. We met on the side of Hwy 20 with the Sisters mountains in the distance to document this epic day! I was planning on taking a bunch more photos, but it was a bit windy so we actually ended doing a mini session and we will do another half to their session later on. Even with a ton of wind and having be a totally casual shoot, I think they great! You can tell they are having fun together!
I also loved that Audrey wore a jacket that she made. I think she had had a lot of modeling with their awesome Porsche!
Ken and Audrey,
I hope your drive was amazing and that you guys had a ton of fun on your anniversary! I can’t wait to take more photos with you guys!
Josh and love to get away in the winter and Scottsdale, Arizona is warm and, most importantly, has a direct flight out of Bend so off we went to spend a weekend away together. While we were out discovering all of Scottsdale’s awesomeness we had a chance to hang out with one of our amazing couples!! It was so much fun to get to know Lindsey and Tyler a little more and to take engagement photos of them in their backyard.
Lindsey and Tyler moved out to Arizona only 4 months ago. Although Tyler grew up in Scottsdale, all the Arizona adventures are still new to Lindsey. We got to hike around Papago Park’s Hole In The Rock to get beautiful portraits of their little family together.
Of corse when Lindsey asked if their dog, Ranger, could be in some of the photos, I couldn’t resist saying yes! I love adding in fur babies for snuggles. He was great to have at the shoot and Josh was a great dog wrangler! Josh only got a chance to take a few images at this session, but his help in caring props and taking care of Ranger was so important! Overall it was a great weekend away together topped off with a beautiful and fun engagement session at Papago Park in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Emma and Kevin were so much fun to photograph! Within minutes of photographing them I could tell that they had been in love for awhile. Emma and Kevin met years back on an annual family camping trip that Kevin’s family does at the Prineville Reservoir each year. Emma, who was best friends with Kevin’s cousin, would tag along. They would only see each other on this annual trip. Eventually they decided that even though the lived far from each other, they had to be together. After Kevin went with Emma to her senior prom, they officially started dating. They’ve been together for seven years and finally getting married! I love that they chose to do their engagement session on the way to that annual Father’s Day camping trip where they first met. It’s so perfect! And of course they added their puppy, Hank!
I love when couples want photos of themselves to remember their time together. Whether they end up getting married or not, it’s always nice to be able to look back on a great love years later to relive those sweet memories.
Rylee and John have been dating for one year today! They wanted to celebrate their time together with beautiful photographs that they can show off to their friends and family and hang in their homes. They will always be able to look back on the time when their relationship began to bloom with these photos.
For their session, we ventured out past Redmond, Oregon to a local bridge that they love. It was surrounded by the beautiful natural landscape of Central Oregon. The small area gave us plenty of settings to use to capture the two of them together. The smoke even provided a beautiful orange glow creating a more romantic vibe for these two love birds. Congrats on one year!
Maria and Jason are two of the most loving and creative people I know. Maria’s love for people shines through her personality and her beautiful photography. Jason is an incredible artist. Seriously, his art is amazing! You can see it here: http://www.waldron3d.com/ . Maria and Jason were two of the first people we met when moved to Bend and Josh and I both adore them. They have been through many joys of finding out they are expecting and struggled through the loss of multiple babies. Since we’ve known them they have lost two precious babies. Though it all they have held their heads high knowing that God loves them and has a plan for them. With each baby they have been filled with joy and with baby Haven Brielle God will finally deliver a lifetime of joy to them. I love her name. Haven means: the serene place of safety in heaven and Brielle means: God is my strength.
I feel so blessed to be able to capture this memorable time for them. I can’t wait to meet this loved little baby girl. I’m so happy for this growing family!!
