Botanical Garden
The botanical garden sits on top of little hill overlooking the Conejo Valley in Southern California. It is one of my favorite places for photos and it didn’t fail for this shoot with Joelle and her sweet family.
With little kids, I try to play and keep things moving as much as possible. We had a blast running around and being silly. Towards the end, Joelle and I worked together to make her son smile. Kids can usually only last about 20 minutes at photoshoots and this session was 45 minutes of shooting, so it was no surprise that he struggled at the end.
I think the images turned out beautiful even through the chaos!
