Brittany and Scott met through a mutual friend at lunch one day. Scott had asked their friend for Brittany’s number, but after dating for a brief time, they decided to be friends. Over the years of supporting one and another through the ups and downs in life, they grew closer and closer until Scott finally suggested they try dating again.
On a Scotland trip together, they both came away knowing that if they could spend two weeks together in a foreign place, that they could spend together forever, anywhere. As long as they are together, they’d be okay.
Scott proposed on a trip to Bend, Oregon, disguising it as a fun birthday trip. You could say this PNW couple has had a special place in their heart for Central Oregon ever since. While they enjoy traveling, their daily lives mostly consist of hiking and loving on their two fur babies.
Let’s talk about this venue! Finding the perfect venue is so hard to do! Brittany and Scott had originally planned to get married in Portland, but they didn’t have a great feeling about the venue they chose. Their dream was to get married in Central Oregon, so Brittany casually began to look for venues, even though she already had one booked. They stumbled upon Dee Bar and fell in love with it! It’s even better in person and the staff is incredible, so they changed plans to have the wedding of their dreams.
This rustic and elegant wedding had the perfect amount of charm and classic touches to make the day a dream come true.
