“I swear I’d follow him anywhere without question.” – Lauren

Lauren and Bennett met while teaching at the same school. They had to keep their relationship quiet at first, but soon they fell in love and the rest is history. They have know been together for 3 and 1/2 years and have spent the time on adventures and working on home projects. They really are the sweetest and Lauren is ready to take on the roll of step mom to help raise their sweet sons.

This new adventure started at Yellowstone National Park. Bennett had been “proposing” for weeks with hair ties. When he asked would a ring look better in the pictures, Lauren rolled her eyes. She was in disbelief it was a diamond ring… “I might have even asked is that real?!” – Lauren.

They chose Sunriver for their wedding day location because they spent their first summer together in Sunriver. We also took their engagement photos here too! It’s an extra special location for them.

Lauren and Bennett,

We had so much fun getting to know you guys and your friends and family. You are truly surrounded by lots of love and laughter. I know you guys are going to have an amazing marriage. Thank you for letting us join in the fun and capture these memories for you! – Kellianne + Josh

Lauren describes her dress as Boho, modern, natural and timeless. I’m seriously in love with her feather dress!

This is how they are together and with everyone around them, so much fun and filled with love!! Their wedding day was definitely hot, but everyone kept cool with orange juice and champagne. One of my favorite ways to start the wedding day is with a toast for the bride. This one is extra special because you can see where Lauren met each of her bridesmaids written on the arm of their cozy matching outfits.

The father-daughter first look is always a beautiful moment. Lauren’s was extra special because she was raised by two amazing men, her father and step-father. They both had a chance to see her in her dress for the first time and take in how stunning she looked.

Instead of reading their vows in front of everyone, they chose to read them alone. It was so beautiful to be able to capture this truly intimate moment between them.

The washing of the feet is not a tradition we see very often, but I often wonder why not? It’s the most intimate way of expressing how you are there together, in it as a team, no matter how dirty life gets. I loved seeing this in their ceremony because I had thought to do it at ours. We opted for the sharing of communion, but I think this is so much more intimate!

Marriage is having “Someone to have a sleepover with every night. Also someone to annoy endlessly!” – Lauren
